Not too proud to admit I spent/wasted two hours yesterday making sets of images that made it look like I was chatting with celebrities on Twitter. Learned some neat things in the process. Twitter for web crops all image previews at 2x1 and handles transparency perfectly, which is cool for keeping the effect believable even when the user mouses over it (which darkens the tweet). Twitter for mobile crops image previews at 4x2.25 though. This happens to work better for this "hack" since the web version left a lot of extra space at the bottom. The screenshot above is from the mobile app. It looks like a tweet, but is actually just an uploaded image.
I'm playing around with @glitch4ios, a brand new glitch app for iOS. I like that it has a rotate feature and variable controls for effects level. Be sure to switch to high res mode though. #corruptabsolutely
I just shared a bunch of brand new #wigglegram shots from a recent @8bitsf show, including this fun shot of @bit_shifter, one of my favorite electronic musicians out there. These were taken on film with my #bundle 3D camera. See the full batch on http://docpop.org
God Hates light leaks.
For the past few month I've been doing these silly #godhatesdinosaurs protests downtown. I asked @steenaire to help take a photo on my 3D camera, but then my dumb assign opened the back without winding first.
The result is a kind of cool firey #wigglegram
Took footage from a webcam in Yosemite to show how the snowfall on March 19th looked for the past 5 years on Half Dome. Totally unscientific, but this lines up with how the rest of California's drought has affected reservoirs.
