Daniel Pak from Kore Ionz. A Seattle based island reggae band
I had the honor of profiling @koreionz for @huffingtonpost! Check out the article and their new video, #starship!
See the link in my profile! Let me know what you think!
Have a great weekend.
Happy bornday to my friend and yours @bridgettesxo!
I have the pleasure of working with her on so many projects and she's an amazing photographer and leader. She's drama free, mission and passion driven.
If you get a chance please tag her and wish her a great day. She was one of the reasons (of many) why IG was a great place. She helped cultivate the community.
Happy bornday B!

Spirit of the Hawk
You see the Seahawks have lit the fire in the hearts of the people, They have lit the fire in the heart of this city. But more than lighting the fire we all share in that spirit. thats what it is about sharing the spirit. Now we have the fire, now we have the spirit, now we are alive and now we are all part of it.
This is an excerpt from Gene Tagaban's performance. Gene is a Native American storyteller who loves the Hawks and believes that the 12s are a great sign of how the Seahawks have helped transform the city and the PNW and helps connect us all.

Chinelos: Seattle Seahawk Style
Chinelos are a kind of traditional costumed dancer which is popular in the Mexican state of Morelos, parts of the State of Mexico and the Federal District of Mexico City, especially the boroughs of Milpa Alta and Xochimilco. The tradition arose from the blending of indigenous and Catholic traditions, most notably Carnival. #seahawkssendoff #weare12 #chinelos #seattle #igers_seattle #gohawks

Happy 2015 everyone.
I rang the new year with a hot date with my wife! :) Before that, I got to interview and shoot the @commonkings crew; @matai45 @junyerking @uncle_lui @j_romet with the homie @pelepels.
Look out for their album in February, and my article with them on Huffington Post next week. It's a good one with some funnies, serious talk, and who they think will win this upcoming Super Bowl (ahem Seahawks).
While in Los Angeles for a gig, I was able to get out for an hour and shoot street. The Melrose District didn't disappoint. I got to meet some awesome people and there wasn't any hesitation when I asked to take their portraits. Big up LA.
Hope y'all are all well.
The Green: Ways & Means 3/3
I interviewed the award winning Hawaiian reggae band The Green @thegreen808 last weekend for Huffington Post.
If you love Hawaii, it's music, and/or The Green, you should check it out. Plus @pahliewalnuts and I shot the concert! Big thanks to @supahtroopah (pictured here) @luckyjp @kaiksbear for the chance to talk story.
